We took a kitchen that was closed off, dark, and outdated and made it a welcoming part of the home. We were able to widen the door way into the kitchen so when you walk in the house, you can see into the kitchen. The client selected light tan cabinets to give the room some more light. Adding lighter cabinets helps make a small space feel larger, even if they are not pure white. The client wanted tile on the kitchen floor, so we used wood look tile for a warmer feel. The hand painted/ handmade backslash tiles became the focal point of this kitchen and will draw your eye to the space.
